And Now For Phase Two

The city entered Phase 2 last Monday. For OUTLETTE that meant that we were finally allowed to have customers in the store. I wanted to do a re-opening promotion where you would receive a certain percentage off your purchase for every pound that you put on during the quarantine. Scott shot that one down pretty quickly :). So, to all my sisters who are a little rounder around the edges, yeah it sucks and I promise it will come off but damn wasn't it fun whilst it happened. It was wonderful to see familiar (half) faces coming into the store to say hi. It was delightful watching customers get their groove back with some long awaited shopping and adorning. And it's been so touching having people shop online and in the store to support us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And now some links to share with you..

My customer/friend Sara came into the store to show me her new and growing line of dinner napkins, tea cloths and sweatshirts - Goldiegirlnyc. I snapped up the dinner napkins and they are so fun and beautiful that I made a point to lay the table for dinner that night so I could use them. My kids were a little surprised by the formality for pizza but once they saw the napkins... they know their mom. Hopefully we will have a Trunk Show with Sara in the Fall.

I think we all have received a hundred ads on Instagram for this pan that promises to be the only pan you will need. So... around the midnight shopping hour I of course ordered one. I haven't received it yet but stay tuned for a review.

Speaking of cooking, now that I’m back at work I don’t have the hours to enjoy cooking like I did during the Quarantine. I don't want to stop and am trying to work out ways to incorporate it into real life. I do want to share this yummy Fish and chips recipe with you. It's such a hit at home.

My daughter turned me onto this Instagram account and I was up till 1 am last night cracking up at every single post like this one.

Seeing that face masks aren't going away anytime soon here is a link to some cute options. Find your favorite and come on in and I’ll match it with the right earrings.

I continue to try to inform myself thanks to the BLM movement. This article has stuck in my mind since I read it. Just because the media isn't covering the movement like it had been, people, including my kids, continue marching every day.

And finally on my OUTLETTE wish list right now is this Dragon Diffusion bag for my visits to the Green Market and this stunning ILD bracelet and earrings.

Have a Happy July 4th and hopefully an even happier August 4, September 4, October 4th…

Love,

Ruthxox
